There are numerous organizations looking
for volunteer workers in Malaysia. The assignments are varied and extremely rewarding
(teaching refugees, working in conservation, administrative work, health…). In
general the main requirements are the age (18 years or older) and commitment
(availability to work for at least 3 months). Some might require residence status
(having an address in Malaysia). Volunteer assignments can be a great
opportunity for expatriates and tourists to give back to society!
