I have received Japanese sweets from the friendly Eriko Kojima.
She offered me a box of Dango, that she got during her vacation in Shikoku area. Known also as Odango, this is a Japanese dumpling made from rice flour. Dango are eaten year-round, but the different varieties are traditionally eaten in given seasons. It’s very sweet and the texture is similar to wagashi.
It was a very pleasant surprise!!!
