I came across the KL Junior Hash House
Harriers through a friend. Every month the members gather at different location
for a 2km or a 5km Kids Walk/Run. The location is in the jungle, normally next
to a water stream and the run/walk is well identified (the organisers who mark and
test each each route before the official run); The group is very international – mostly expatriates – and the kids are thrilled to be able to explore the jungle safely. At the end of each walk/run there’s a picnic and most kids play on the
water! It’s a fantastic opportunity to meet new people and to explore the
jungle (near Kuala Lumpur)
