Yesterday I’ve walked across the Rainbow Bridge from Shinagawa to Odaiba. The bridge offers stunning views of the Tokyo's skyline.
With a span of 570m, a total length of 798m and a height above water of 126 m, it’s a fairly large suspension bridge. The top deck has a branch of the Shuto Freeway and the bottom deck has a toll free ordinary road and walkways.
The bridge has two walkways, north and south. The north walkway offers a view towards Shinjuku and Marunochi, while the south walkway faces Odaiba and Shinagawa. It takes about 30 minutes to walk one way across the bridge.
