Before living in Japan, I thought that pollution was the only reason behind the popularity of the facial masks. But now, I've also learned that: ''... etiquette obligates those who are sick to wear masks to avoid their spreading disease.''
The white ones are the most common, but, it’s also possible to find cotton ones, with different colors and patterns.
