Boat Tours - Langkawi - Malaysia

There are numerous boat tours in Langkawi. A 4 hours Island-hop starts at RM 25 without meals, a visit to 3 islands on an 8 person’s boat!

You can visit lakes, mangroves, eagle feeding areas, go on a sunset tour or even on a day trip to Thailand’s nearby Islands like Koh Lipe. Most tour operators are based on Pantai Cenang along the main street so it’s very easy to buy tickets.

Langkawi Island - Malaysia

My first trip in 2014 was to beautiful Langkawi in the Malaysia’s West Coast.

It's landscape is impressive with a lot of densely green mountains, waterfalls and white sandy beaches. The sea is not as beautiful as in the East Coast of the country and sadly in some areas there’s a lot of garbage. Pantai Cenang is the busiest area with a lot of hotels, bars and restaurants and it's also the epicentre of the island's nightlife.

There’s no shortage of activities (boat tours nearby islands, water sports, bike tours...) suitable for adults and children.

Just an hour away by plane from Kuala Lumpur, Langkawi is a nice destination for a short break!
