Traditional Music in KLCC and Bangsar - Kuala Lumpur - Malaysia

During the month of Ramadan, Kuala Lumpur is “exploding” with cultural activities. There are free live dance and music concerts all over the city.

The first set of pictures was taken in KLCC and the second one  in Bangsar! The country is warming up for the big Eid Mubarak celebrations next week.

I will be pleased pictures of those events as well!

Central Market - Kuala Lumpur - Malaysia

Walking distance from Chinatown and nearby Merdeka Square you’ll find KL’s Central Market.

Also known as Pasar Seni, the Central Market was built in 1888. This is a great place to buy quality handcrafts, souvenirs and to see some artisans at work.

There’s also a nice outside market (with good deals on tropical fruit) and a few food courts.

Traditional Malaysian Dances - Suria KLCC - Kuala Lumpur - Malaysia

This week I was on Suria KLCC and by chance was lucky enough to come across this great colourful show. Six dancers in traditional outfits dancing to the sound of very loud and vibrant Malaysian music!
